"Changing our World, One Drop at a Time"
The WWMD has launched a community awareness marketing plan…. to achieve the district’s mission.
The WWMD - Mission Statement:
"Maintain, protect, and improve the quality of the Waterford Waterway, its fisheries, its watershed, and boundaries; while maintaining the highest possible quality of living experience for its residents."
WWMD ESR Committee Report October 2011
WWMD ESR Committee met with GRAEF Engineering Firm 10-6-11 Regarding, SOW (Scope of Work) Procedures. GRAEF gave us many good ideas on how to prepare for our ESR Dredging Project. GRAEF will coordinate all project updates with Kelly Cornelius similar to how we set up 2011 Waterford Dam repair updates. GRAEF will contact Kelly Cornelius to set up email, website, e-learning and media with constant evaluation of progress toward clearly stated objectives, and adaptive management of the design process to incorporate new information as it becomes available. GRAEF has a person on staff that handles grants and will help find grants for our ESR project. We will need a 2012 Spring post card for riparian’s re: Special meeting for ESR project
What a better way than by increasing community awareness of the benefits for our community, to achieve the districts mission in this thriving state of recreational waterways.
